Meet Jade Vucina

Jade Vucina has always had a passion for plant-based foods. After graduating high school, she moved to Brazil where she found easy access to fresh plant-based foods. In 2016 she moved back to Monterey Bay to be with family. Upon her return she quickly realized a shortage of fresh food options at local restaurants.
In 2017, she was ready to make an impact and opened a catering company “Jade’s Acai”. For three years she served fresh acai bowls and juices at the local farmers’ market and numerous festivals across California.
With a strong desire to make plant-based foods more easily accessible to her community, Jade has expanded her açaí concept to offer more delicious 100% plant-based items and moved into her first brick & mortar in 2021.
